The compact and lightweight acquisition unit can be detached from the printer for hand-held portability. Paper copies of ECGs stored in internal memory are
produced by docking with the thermal printer or by connecting to a laser printer.

The two PCMCIA slots can support extended features such a high speed modem for data transfer, the X-12 wireless patient cable or network interface.

Communication with the E-Scribe/NT Data Management System is fully supported.
